The big move.

Wow, we are leaving tomorrow. This is our last night in Utah for a very long time. I can't believe two years have gone by. We have been very busy while waiting for our departure. The girls graduated from Kindergarten and pre-school. They performed as munchkins in the wizard of oz. They danced in their Dance recital of Cinderella and I. All the while we pack and shipped Lane out of here Last Tuesday; to drive to CT all by himself. He started PA school on the 24th and is already stressed out with all the homework he has. I think tons of packed boxes adds to the stress as well. The girls and I will fly out tomorrow, but not to CT we are first stopping in Portland Or, to visit my family and then we will join Lane next Friday. I will miss all of our family and friends so much. We have really enjoyed our time here in Utah. Please come and visit.

Our House

So here is the house that we bought in Connecticut (well we will close on the 26th). Here are the specks as well:
It was built in 1900. We get to live in a 110 year old house. Awesome. It has three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an unfinished attic, and full basement. We will be redoing the downstairs bathroom, kitchen, and finishing the attic. It has beautiful original hardwood floors and molding around all the doors and windows. I am very exciting this is our first home. Lane is heading back there at the end of April for renovations. And I will join him the first week of June. Lots to get done over the next 6 weeks, but I am very happy to put a close on this chapter of our life and begin the next one.

Connecticut

I haven't blogged in awhile. I've been busy. I am not make any promises to keep up with this for now, but I want to share are our news with you. We are moving to Connecticut this May. We will be in the New Haven area. We are in the process of looking for houses online and figuring out what needs to happen to get over there and so forth. Lane is going to be attending P.A. school. So we are very excited about that. He will be going to Quinnipiac University. I have never heard of it, but they have a really great PA program. He is very stoked about it. And I am equally thrilled to be living on the east coast. We are 90 mins from NYC and 90 mins from Boston. It will be an exciting adventure for us. So while we will enjoy these last few months in Utah we do look forward for the last few adventures we will have here.

My sister Susie.

This last weekend we went to California for the UEA break. It was a short visit, but I wanted to see my very pregnant sister Susie. She is due in about 2-4 weeks (due dates changes a lot). It was so neat to see her all big and pregnant. I am so excited for her. Its the first baby on out side of the family in a long time. She is a very cute pregnant girl though. I love her so much. She is going to be a great mom.

Cancun 09

About a month ago Lane and I went to Cancun with our friends. An adult only vacation. Very awesome. My wonderful mother flew in from California to take care of Sophia and Grace while we were gone. We enjoyed 6 days on no kids for the first time since they were born. We stayed at the royal in Cancun. It was all inclusive so we only left the resort one time for an excursion. It was so nice to be with all of our great friends.
Through out the week we enjoyed loads of great foods and drinks (I love virgin Pina coladas). Lane and I got a couples massage (very romantic and relaxing). We went on a Jungle tour/snorkling adventure (yes I did see a shark). And Lane played lots of volleyball while I got an awesome tan. It was a wonderful vacation.

Me holding parrots. Very cool.

The guys playing volleyball.

All of our friends that went with us.

It was so humid that our camera kept getting all fogged up.

The trip back home with my wonderful husband. Can you see how tan my face is.
